  • Kenna is focused on developing House of Culture, a boutique thrift fashion house and shop with a queer Black aesthetic on Broadway Ave in North Minneapolis.
  • Voice of Culture core members and past participants are invited to help vision the future of Drumming, Dancing, Singing and Telling Stories with each other
PAST
  • Voice of Culture has had practice on Saturdays at 3 for over 10 years.  
  • Voice of Culture has always been open to performing for community and cultural events and ceremonies.
  • We began in 2008 as a means for continuing our study of Djembe drum and dance
  • We were a performing group that has been on every stage in the Twin Cities, and drumming in the streets to protest and lift up Blackness
